How often do I need to obtain a new waste transfer note?

You just need to obtain a waste transfer note per commercial premises, every year. You’ll need one waste transfer note for each programme you collect waste for.

If you don’t send any shipments for a while, your waste transfer note will still be valid for the relevant calendar year.

Please note, if your address or organisation type changes, this will affect your SIC code and you will need a new waste transfer note for each impacted programme.
